Go B-A-N-A-N-A-S!

B-A-N-A-N-A-S. Oh yeah, Gwen Stefani got this one right. The first reason we love this super food is its size. It’s just enough for a filling snack between meals, and (bonus points!) comes in its very own natural “100-calorie pack.” And reading off the vitamins in these things is like relearning the ABC’s: Bananas are a good source of vitamins A, B6, and C, just to name a few. Plus bananas have plenty of fiber, which means that measly 100 calories can actually keep you full for hours. Plus, it’s got important minerals, including potassium (a nutrient many of us are actually deficient in) and magnesium. And they’re versatile — we found ways to eat (or drink) ‘em for breakfast, snacktime, and dessert. The Takeaway: Bananas are nature’s versatile, fiber-packed treat filled with vitamins and minerals. Grab one whenever you’re feeling hungry for a quick and easy fix.
